Fiddler's Art and Craft Vendor Information

Attention Art and Craft Vendors

The Berlin Chamber of Commerce would like to invite you to participate in the 19th Annual Berlin Fiddlers Convention held September 23 – 25, 2011.

As a designated Arts & Entertainment District, historic Berlin, MD hosts quality events in our charming Victorian-era town. Just minutes away from Ocean City, Berlin is known for unique gift shops, antique stores, art galleries and restaurants, set amidst a quaint Main Street that has been used as the site for the films, Runaway Bride and Tuck Everlasting.

The Fiddlers Convention is our most popular event, with thousands attending every year. A multi-media promotional campaign includes TV, radio, website, and print advertising and a Facebook event page devoted entirely to the event. Last year’s attendance was estimated at more than 5,000.

The event is held on Main Street in downtown Berlin, which will be closed to vehicle traffic. The prime day of the event and the only day open to vendors is the day of competition – Saturday, Sept. 24. The festivities begin at 10 am and continue until 5 pm.  Vendor set-up time is between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m.  Vendors may not breakdown before 5 p.m.  Vehicles are not permitted on Main Street outside of set-up and breakdown times.

The fee for a 10’ x 10’ area is $100, which includes the $5.00 Town of Berlin street vendor fee. Electricity is not provided.  Double spaces, side by side, may be purchased upon request. Only booth space is provided. Vendors are responsible for bringing their own table, chairs, tent and signage.
