Berlin Farmers Market - May through December
Local farmers, fresh produce,
seafood, bedding plants, herbs, eggs and flowers are for sale at the corner of
West and Main Streets. Every Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. May through
December. Starting in July through October the farmers market is also
open on Wednesdays.
Spring Celebration - April 3, 2010
A celebration of the season held on
Main Street in downtown Berlin. Have breakfast with the Easter bunny,
enjoy local entertainment, crafters and food vendors and watch the Easter
Bonnet Parade.
Mother's Day Bingo - May
Basket Bingo fundraiser for the
upcoming Village Fair in June. Perfect opportunity to win a great gift for that
special mom in your life.
This event features two outdoor stages of live jazz & blues, plus select art and food vendors to heighten the festival atmosphere!
Cruiser's - May & October
Classic cars cruise the streets of
Berlin. With music in the streets and local shops in theme, thousands of
visitors come to see classic cars from the 50's, 60's and 70's roar up and down
the streets.
The Village Fair - June 12
The old time Village Fair is fun for
the entire family with a child's play land, a huge variety of crafters, food
vendors, and lots of entertainment. It also hosts the Berlin Idol
Contest.
Sidewalk Sale - August 6 - 8
If you are looking for good
bargains, you do not want to miss Berlin's Annual Sidewalk Sale. For four days,
businesses in downtown Berlin move their merchandise to the sidewalks and offer
tremendous discounts.
Fiddler's Convention - September 24 - 26
Come enjoy n entire weekend of
Bluegrass music. The event kicks off
with a free concert on Friday night, followed by an Acoustic Music
Competition on Saturday and closing with a free Bluegrass Gospel Jam on Sunday
morning.
Victorian Christmas - December
Through the month of December,
downtown Berlin transforms into a beautiful Victorian town with special events
held every weekend. A Christmas parade kicks off the season. Visit Santa
and take a free horse and carriage ride through the town.
